Having my husky stay alone

Question
I have tried crate training from the very beginning and he went crazy.  He got his jaw stuck, he tried tipping the crate over, he basically went nuts.  So we stop the crate all together.  We then put him in a nice size bathroom and has now gone through 2 doors and destroyed the walls.  Then, we put him into a bedroom and took out all the furniture.  We put in the room his bed, blanket, toys and treats, plus there are times we even wore him out playing before putting him in the room.  That room is also destroyed.  One night he broke into the closet and ruined everything and the following night he ripped up all the carpet.  We have already started taking him to obedience training, but that is for the basics.  We do not know what to do anymore.  He is great when we are around and take him places, but alone, he's awful.  We love him very much, but we need to leave him alone in the house without him destroying everything.  Please help.  Thanks.

This sounds like separation anxiety. Try the tips here: http://www.thegooddogjournal.com/2008/11/separation-anxiety.html
You should also take another stab at crate training. Check out my article here:
