regressed in toilet trained

Question
I have a 1 1/2 yr old maltize x shitsu she has been house trained since the age of 4mths but just recently she has been pooping in the living area of our house and just tonight i have found that she jumped up onto our bed and has done her business there as well.
as mentioned she has been house trained and she normally whines to go out, which she is still doing but i am unsure as to why she ahs taken to doing it back in the house.
we did take on a puppy for the past 6 mths but have since had to pass him on as our dog didnt get on with him
any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated

Hi Kelly!

This behavior is probably related to the new puppy.  Often changes in a dogs life prompt behavior issues.  You may need to go back to square one with potty training, as if she is a new puppy again - whatever worked the first time, or let me know if you need help on that.  Also, check out these blog posts which may help:
