Lapping

Question
I have a three year old Golden, and she constantly licks people when they're around her. We've tried Bitter Apple, and closing her mouth when she does it, but she never stops. It gets to the point where people don't want to pet her, because she laps them till no end. Any ideas?

She licks people because she is excited. If someone wants to pet her, for the first 3 mins before doing that just ignore her. After she gets calmer he can pet her.
Also everytime she licks you close her mouth, don't release it untill she starts whinning, and then calp your hands and say "No."
You can use cheyene pepper since most dogs dont like it.
