Question
I have 3 puppies that are old enough to leave their mother now, but they have ringworms! Their mother had recently gotten out & picked it up & passed it to them. I have no money to bring them to the vet. Is there any at home treatments I can give them to help? It's not bad, just a small patch on each puppy. Thank you---Tara R.

Answer
There is no home treatment that I know of. They need an anti fungal. You really shouldn't sell them with it as they could pass it on to other dogs. You could check with a pharmacist and see if you can find something that would work on children. Usually things for kids are ok for dogs. Just dose like a infant. This is what I mean when I say you don't make money having puppies. There is always something...have the pups had their shots yet? They should also be wormed as most all puppies have worms. The best would be to get them to a vet for shots, worming, and to get the ringworm taken care of.
