Excited Urination

My 1 year old male Schnoodle is giving me a problem.  He urinates whenever he greets someone.  Even if he has just been on a long walk, he still can not control himself.  I've tried having him sit when guests arrive at the house, but he still pees!  He has even learned to go to his cage when my husband comes home.  He will still pee IN HIS CAGE!  He never has an accident except for this.  I've also tried ignoring him, getting down to his level, etc.  Today he urinated on my daughters bed when he went to wake her up, even though we just returned from a walk.  What can I do?

It sounds to me like you are doing all the right things... keeping everything low-key and ignoring him. I am assuming that you are also not correcting him whenever he does this. I think it might be time to contact your veterinarian and see about putting the dog on some medication to help him out with this.
