Hello Becky.  i have just got 2 female beagle pups. the owner said he wormed them. they are six weeks old and there passing whipworms in there stool and the worms are still alive is there any concern about this? but i will worm them agian at 8 weeks correct? also i gave them a 8 in 1 shot will i have to give them another 8 in 1 shot agian?

Yes, if the puppies were just de-wormed, then you are seeing the expulsion of live worms. What you are seeing, is probably round worms though.   The only thing I would want to do , is not let them around the area where they are getting rid of the worms, as they can re-infect themselves by sniffing, etc.  Yes, by all means, de-worm again in two weeks.  The "puppy shot" should be given at 6wks, 9wks, and 12wks......then once a year after that.  Make sure the vaccine is for distemper, parvo and corona viruses.
