due from licking our Bichon has brown patches

There is really nothing you can do about the brown/red hair from your dogs licking.  This is very common in white dogs.  Usually the hair around their mouth and eyes turns red due to it being wet all the time. Same goes for dogs that lick their feet or other areas. There is a couple products out on the market that claim to work, but don't waste your money. They are harsh to the dogs skin and must be used everyday to see the faintest results.  Keeping the hair short is the best option.
