dog hurt leg

My 10 yr old Australian Shepherd seems to have twisted his leg.  Yesterday he was limping, but today he's not using it at all.  Should I wrap it in a stint or let it heal as it is?

Hi Mark,  It depends on how he hurt it on whether you should wrap it or not.  It also depends on where the injury is.  Does it seem to be in the foot, or more in the hip?  I would let him rest and not use it for 24 hours, and if he is still not using it by Monday, then I would take him into the vet as he might have done more damage than is apparent to the naked eye.  Don't wrap anything though because that can make things worse.  Hope this helps,
