Question
I have a female yorkie that is almost 1 year old.  She has just recently begun to chew door facings and floor moldings around the walls and cabinets while we aren't home.  She always has plenty of toys, rawhide bones and chewy things around.  What can I do to stop her from doing this?  Help.

Answer
Hi
Number one:   take all but three toys away from her and each day exchange the three with another three.  Yorkies get bored.  If you change out her toys she will always feel she has something new.
Second.  Temporarily, change her food to Eukanuba puppy food.   since she is chewing wood, I feel she may have a definciancy in ash.  Dogs need ash.  Some dog biscuits have it, like mother hubbard,  you have to check the bag.
Three   get her several of the toys where you have to put food into in and they have to figure out how to get it out.
good luck
