Dog in the rain...

Hello, i have a beautiful rottweiler, he's 9 months old. I'm worried about him because it's raining everyday here, it's pouring actually and it's so cold; he just sits outside and literally stares at the rain and does nothing, i can't believe i just discovered that he doesn't sleep inside his house, it seems like he never did, he's got a nice wooden house, but he just lays outside in the backyard floor; and i'm worried, specially now that it's raining so hard, he might get sick or something...How can i teach him to get inside his house? I've tried to push him, and he doesn't want to get in, i even got inside his house so he could follow me, but nothing works. Please help me.

Aruuuuuuuugh!  I once had a dog that laid in the same spot until he not only killed the grass, but compacted the dirt leaving a hole that filled with rain.  He then laid in it.  He had nothing to do with his house until cold weather set in.  If he seems happy, leave him be.
