pink eye in dogs

Hi Shelly,
Our labradoodle has pink eye...again.  This is the 2nd time.  Should I
worry that
it's more than just an infection, and how can I prevent it from happening
again?
Is he getting it from another dog from the day care? He only goes once a
month
when he gets bathed.  He does like to put his face out the window when
in the
car, should I not let him do this anymore, he loves it so much! Any advice
would
be helpful.

Hi Dana,

Thanks for writing to me.  Gosh, I sure do love those Labradoodles! :)

I have had great success with eye infections using Dr. Goodpet's Eye C.  It seems to clear them right up!

Doggie's faces out the window are not recommended although my own dog loves it too.  However, I won't allow it over about 20 MPH.  Things like rocks and bugs can hit the eyes or go right up the nose and cause a very serious problem.
