Hello David, I am glad you wrote back, first off you are Welcome.  By the way there is a website that sells a tool you can use for shedding dogs, it does work and it does require a lot of elbow grease.  They also sell the optimum shampoos that work with the tool.  Besides their product any shampoo will work as long as you rinse very well, the key is rinsing, rinsing and then rinsing again.  Then follow up with a conditioner and again rinse, rinse, rinse so as not to leave any residue.  The website for the shedding tool is www.furminator.com,  Good luck, Cindy Lou
