adopting

hey i am trying to find a dog in my area to adopt. are German shepherds good dogs? i want thins for my 8 year old brother. he loves animals and we already have one dog. will German shepherds and jack Russell terriers fight? i live in Florida so if you know anywhere i could adopt that would be great

German Shepherds are usually good with other dogs,and animals in general,though some males can be pushy-so a female would be best

As to were to find one,it depends on what city you live in-my best bet would be your local shelter,as shepherds are usually easy to adopt from shelters
