pomeranian hates visitors

Hello, my absolute best friend in the world has a pomeranian.  The dog loves my best friend and would never consider doing anything to harm her.  I however, seem to be considered a huge threat to the dog...because he hates me.... and is always insanely jealous when i'm around.  If i'm around for a few hours, the dog will eventually warm up enough to let me play with it, but the dog is still very aggressive.  Not that I try very often, but the dog does not let me touch it at all.  Is there any way that I can get the dog to warm up to me?  Dogs usually love me.

Thanks for your question.  Bring treats with you whenever you come ask your friend what his favorite treats are.  If she gives him scrap bones or table scraps at all bring over a little doggy bag of your left overs.  Or some doggy treats let him know that when you come over he get a treat and make sure your friend is present to hold the dog and reassure it while you work your magic.  Mail me back and let me know if this helps.
