Mini Pin dribbling urine HELP!!!!

Question
My miniature pinscher is an almost 9 month old female who is housebroken to using pee pads. For the past month she is having a problem with urine incontinence. Sometimes she will run through the house dribbling urine, I have hardwood floors so it is easy to see this, or while she is sitting whe will urinate or dribble a very large spot. She doesn't have to be excited for this to happen, it can happen at any time. She does eliminate on the pee pads because I have seen her do so. Why is she having problems holding her urine?

Answer
Hi Toni. She could have a bladder or urinary tract infection. Your vet can determine what the problem is with a simple urine test. This can be easily fixed with antibiotics. Sometimes this happens for no reason, even to puppies. Best bet would be taking her to the vet. Thanks!
