How long should clipper blades last?

Question
Hello Charlotte,
We have brand new Andis clippers model PM-3 and after shaving our three dogs about twice each, have gone through both sets of blades that came with it.  After switching to the new set of blades they cut great but now those too are not clipping.  We followed the directions - kept them clean and oiled.  It seems as if we should get more shavings from brand new blades.  What do you think?

Thanks,
Steve

Answer
Wow.  Very interesting as on their website they say it will last "a years" ??  Their words.  So we can take from that it should last at least a year.  Someones telling fibs.  I would contact them how long your blades last.  I would say you should get more than 6 shaves with them.

You don't mention what breeds the dogs are.

Here is their website in case you didn't see it.

Sorry I couldn't do more.

Good luck.
