How to pick a dog from a litter of labs

well first of all, have them keep the pup til 8 weeks of age. this is important for a well behaved dog since the mom teaches the pup alot in that two weeks after 6 weeks of age. Hold the pup upside down in your arms like you would hold a baby...rub his belly..he should be calm when you do it and not go crazy...also, look it in the eyes and it should look away within ten seconds. do not take the runt or biggest if possible..hope that helps
