Question
Hello I emailed you about my trio of dogs yesterday regarding exercise(Lab,JRT and BT) I have interest in getting a golden retriever puppy either next year or the year after I think it'd be a nice fit and a bit smaller then my lab which is what I was hoping for I was wondering if you might be able to help with these questions

Would a golden retriever Female(would be spayed) fit in with my dogs? my Lab and boston terrier are females both spayed and my jack russell terrier is male neutered. I say next year or the following year as I want have time to make sure everything will go well(time to spend getting the dogs used to one another)fixing the exercise shedual for the dogs and making sure I can afford another long term I also want to get an emergency fund put away for my dogs. I would buy a 7/8 week old puppy from a reptible breeder.... but was wondering if yuo might know how my dogs would take the new arrival... this would be my second large dog....my lab has had experiance with another large dog...my freiend godlen retX lab ret but since getting my small dogs they dont play anymore. thank you. Also I have been seeing different things on the adult weight of a golden for female is it 55/65 or 60/70?

Answer
I think a female would be the best choice,as one male is usually enough-i think she would fit right in if you pretty much do the same stuff for her as you do the lab,I think the other dogs will take her pretty well as they are used to living a with other dogs

As for size it all depends on what size the parents are, even in purebreds so when you look at some breeders the size of there dogs will indicate the size of yours
