dog lost last litter due to her milk hardened.she is 7 1/2 years old is their any i can do to prevent this from happening .

Yes, there is something you can do. Have your dog spayed.

Just as there is a recommended age for a dog's first pregnancy, there is also a recommended age for the last one. Most breeders will tell you that it's not safe to breed female dogs after age 6.
