Regarding potty training

I have a black lab who is 2 months old.
We have been trying to potty train him, but did not see much result. We even try to confine him to a room, he excretes in the balcony of that room usually but whenever he is out of the room, he doesnt understand still that he is supposed to go to the balcony, he does it wherever he feels like.
Pls help.

You can try one of two things,the first is to use a crate-and what you do is you keep the puppy in there all the time except to go outside get fed ect And it works because most dogs will not soil there sleeping areas

If that doesn't work the second thing you can try is puppy pads and put them near the door and that will often move them outside
