Question
My husband and I breed ukc reg. apbt. we recently had one of our females artificially insemenated(19 days ago) before doing so we had her health checked and she was in great health. yesterday and today(4-24-07) i noticed a lime green looking discharge coming from her vulva. Its not just lil drops, but its not like its pooring out either. i have never seen this with any of my other females.i am going to try and get her an appointment with the vet tomorrow. I was just trying to find out something tonight, because it worries me. When i had her ai'ed i shipped her to where the male was,but she wasnt bred to the male. She was artificially insemenated at a vet. I seen pictures proving it and everything. She has lost some weight also, which i assumed was because she was home sick. She is eating and drinking fine. any help on this matter would be appreciated.

Answer
shannon,
i don't know what your vet will tell you, but anytime I have had a green discharge I have been losing a litter. or sometimes only a pup. Make sure the vet does a slide on the discharge to see if there is anything else going on.
and you are correct to get her in asap.
