occasionaly vomits

Our dog occasionaly vomits and then proceeds to eat it.
Is this normal?

Hi Tim;
After they vomit, they clean it up.
If you pick it up first, he/she won't ned to clean it up.
In the wild, cleaning up vomit and feces if the way dogs, wolves etc hide their dens from predators so their young won't be eaten while they are away looking for food.
Partly it goes back to primal stirrings, partly it is from them being considerate of us, and a little embarassed that the, a normally well behaved member of the family, has made a mess for us to clean up, so they try to take care of it.
