Dogs Cohabitating

I have a 13 month old male german shepherd that just had puppies with my female. I wanted to keep a male. Will they get along? only if they are both neutered or just one, or does that matter at all? I've heard different things.

It really depends on the dominance levels of the two males, but I think they would get along better if the bitch were spayed. An intact bitch will always cause a bit of friction between two males. Maybe if both males were neutered, it might work out better, but it does take time for those hormone levels to drop.
