Black Miniature Schnauzers

Hi Karen,

I am looking to adopt a male black miniature schnauzer.  I was speaking with a breeder yesterday that told me that black schnauzers tend to be more aggressive than their salt/peppers and black/silvers counterparts.  Have you found that to be true?  

I think that the black mini schnauzers are beautiful (as they all are, of course!), but I'd prefer to adopt a puppy that was less prone to aggressiveness.

One color is NOT more aggressive than another. However, a particular breeder's dogs might be more aggressive, and if that breeder happens to have black schnauzers.... suddenly there is a "fact" about a color that is not true. Choose your breeder wisely; there are a LOT of people out there producing puppies who have no idea what they are doing.  http://amsc.us/index.php?option=com_contact&Itemid=42
