infections of the penis in my male shitzu

My one year old shitzu has greenish pus ozzing from his penis, this worries me should i be concerned about this? i keep the area clean but still it keeps happening what should i do?

Margie,,,It is very hard to diagnose over the net....a greenish discharge could be normal for him or he could be running and infection.   The best thing to do would be to take him to a vet and have it checked.  Once he is diagnosed, whether good or bad, you will always know when he gets this, what it is and how to treat it...That is how I learned over the years about dog behavior.
You don't want to let this go on for long since dogs tend to be fragile and you wouldn't want anything to happen to him.
