Pregnant Lab

I have a chocolate lab that is pregnant with her first litter. She loves to swim. Will it be harmful to the puppies for her to swim in a chlorine pool while she's carrying them?

I don't think the swimming will hurt her at all.   I WOULD rinse her off with clean water when she is done, and I would not let her drink from the pool.  Chlorinated water can cause birth defects when ingested, so just tell her no when she starts to drink and if she doesn't listen then keep her out of the pool.  You might get a baby pool and put fresh water in it so she can at least go in there and cool off.
