Ridgeback

My Ridgeback is a cross with Bull Mastiff, but is mostly Ridge. She is 4 years old and is great with people. The problem is she hates small dogs mosstly, especially the litlle fluffy white one. It makes it very hard to walk her. Can we get this out of her?? or is she to old?

Hello Len;
It is a bit late in life for her...I would try to get a dog that she dislikes to sleep face to face with both in separate crates...she may get used to the idea, but, it may take so much time, you may want to give up!
I would ask around in your area, if you can find a Obedience class and try to expose her to all types of dogs, being out of her own environment will help!
This way, you can give it a try, if you see improvement, then work at it!
Praise is the best reinforcement!
This gives the dog the cue it needs to learn!!!
