a dog bite

My son has a pit bull very well behaved and we just bought a new puppy he is a pit bull and they both have  shots we just got him yesterday and the older dog bite I mean it cut through er skin not bad but today there is puss keaking out through there and the puppy has a lil ball on the tummy are but that ball was there already. please let me knoe that caused the puppy to get sick..desparate Thank you.

Hello Mary,

You should see your vet just to make sure.  Puss is never a good thing.  I can't speculate to what may be.  
It's better to be safe than sorry if there should be an infection.
