Dried paint on coat

Question
I Haven't yet wet her down, so not sure if it's water or oil based paint.
Water based paint shouldn't be a problem.
What would I use if It's oil based?

Answer
You can try using a 'test area' first, use some nail polish remover, that SHOULD take Oil paint off of her coat. Water based us a breeze!  Make sure to keep her nose, eyes and privates clear of the polish remover!  Dab a bit on with a tissue, rub it a bit (small area) and see if it comes off, if it does, then WAIT 5 minutes for any skin reaction.  If there is no reaction, continue to dab it on in small amounts until done. IF the paint won't come off, then you can try Kerosene, it's VERY harsh on their coats and you will have to give her a few good baths after it to get the smell out and help her skin recover.  Again, use a 'test area' first, And no smoking around her either!
