What kind of food is better for my 8 month german shperd/st bernard mix

Today my husband and I went to a pet market the told us that the food we gave to my puppy It was not good. (food bag; 25 lbs for 6.00 dollars) so, you can imagine.  my puppy loosing too much hair and she look very skinny, we felt very bad because we want the best for our puppy. In the store they show us different kind of food that we can buy it. We buy one but we want like the correct food for our adorable puppy.  what food its better for neika?

Nicole... hello.... glad you wrote to me about Neika.
I am also glad the pet store told you that she was on a poor choice of foods.
She needs something that is low in grain and corns... ( no corns or low in corns)
Can you find Wellness Formula ( white fish and sweet potato)???
Or any of the following will be fine:

Wellness  -WEE Bites puppy mix with Adult Fish formula
Solid gold ( fish formula)- puppy
Natural Balance  ( any formula - puppy)

You can also give her 1/2 cup of cottage cheese per day.  VERY good for her.
Also, make sure she is getting enough of the dog food.  Read the back of the bag and make sure you use it as a guide.  You may have to give a little more or a little less .... depends on the poops.  If the poops tend to be loose, then she may be getting too much food.

Also, you may want to worm her again.  Take her to the vet and have them check her over... Ask them to give you another wormer treatment or buy some at the pet store.   Sometimes they don't gain weight because they have worms.  ( you may not always see the worms...)
