PROTIEN AND VITAMINES FOR MY DOG

MY BORDER COLLIE CAN ONLY EAT BOILED CHICKEN OR TURKEY AND RICE, HOW CAN I GET MORE PROTIEN AND VITAMINES IN HER DIET, SHE LOST ALLOT OF WEIGHT BECAUSE THE BACTERIA IN HER STOMACK WAS OUT OF WACK, SO ALL SHE CAN EAT IS CHICKEN AND TURKEY, ANYTHING ELSE SHE WILL HAVE THE RUN'S...........

Hello William,
First of all, what condition does your dog have that she needs a restricted diet? Have you had a veterinary diagnosis?

There is nothing wrong with building a diet around poultry, but a wide variety of other foods and supplements need to be added. I develop diets professionally for clients with challenging cases. From here, we can look at a private consultaiton, or I can attempt to advise here with the information you provide me.

I would need, at a minimum, to know:
1) A clinical diagnosis, what condition your dog has and how she has been treated (drugs, for example)
2) her weight, activity level and age
3) how long she has been on the restricted diet and what she was eating before

I'm happy to offer general dietary guidelines but I do need some more information. Does she have allergies? any other health issues?
