Hi,
I live in INDIA and have 2 month old fawn pug puppy.I wanted to ask  tat what food items should i give him, as previously i was giving him dog CERELAC  5 times perday, then i reduced it to 2, and started giving him the STARTER 3 times perday, but after reading the negative reviews about commercial dog food, i am afraid, also my vet told me to fed him (1)cottage cheese and(2) milk diluted with luke warm water.I've just tried cottage cheese which he ate very happily.But i wanted my dog to eat homemade food and wanted to ask some if they are good for my pug puppy and also that are easily available here in INDIA.
Please i would request you to give an immediate answer.
As previously i had a rabbit and he died because of vets carelessness and 0 knowledge so want to ask you the detailed food chart for my dog

Your puppy should be eating a commercial puppy chow.  I don't understand why there is so much negative things said about the commercial dog food.  The arguments against them are completely illogical, irrational, and totally lack any scientific backing.  Go back and check your sources.  Look for any references to scientific studies to back their opinions.  They are all based on speculation about the ingredients that go in to them.  I admit that I don't like the sound of some of the things that go into dog food, but the foods with them produce fine, healthy dogs with a long active life.  

Dog nutrition is very complex, but well understood.  The commercial companies can easily formulate a dog food that is the complete and balanced diet dogs need.  Trying to do it yourself is beyond most people.  I think I have heard that Pedigree is available in India, and it or one of the other common brands including, Purina, Iams, Pro Plan, and Science Diet will be far better for you Pug than the mild and cottage cheese and the vet said, or anything you can prepare.
