Liver damage after gall bladder removal; bland recipes

Question
It is almost impossible to get my very sick dog to eat anything. When he is feeling ok for short periods of time you can tell he is hungry but we still have a very difficult time to get him to eat anything. The rest of the time he is just feeling so sick he doesn't even want to smell food. Since he wouldn't eat for over 8 days, he was on nasal tube feeding for a 4 days after having his gall bladder removed due to mucocele, and had started to eat before he was discharged from the vet hospital, but after coming home five days ago he seems to have gotten worse. We are waiting for more blood work results from the vet. Any suggestions on how to get him to eat? We have tried everything we can think of.

Answer
Wow -  Have you used the puppy formula?  I would mix that with some cream of wheat.
Or, at least syringe feed the pup formula - I would make the formula weak so it is not too hard to digest.  ( add more water than what the mixture calls for)
I have some bland recipes - see here:  From Stanford:

HOPE you can use one of the PIPS recipes.
