dog food for bichon;

Question
we have a 9 yr old Bichon---he has itchy dry skin %26 was getting hot spots regularly----we switched his dog food to Eukoneuba sensitive skin, he did well on it, then they re called it recently----so we went to Petmart,they told us to get Nutro Ultra for seniors in wet %26 dry, %26 greenies for his teeth, he weighs 17lbs %26 is in good health, I have read bad reviews on this dog food, he eats it, but we are afraid to continue it, due to reviews, do you have any inputs on this dog food, it Holistic dog food good got Bichon's ? He is on no medications, he was on Purina One Lamb %26 Rice before we switched to either of the sensitive skin foods

Hi Dennis and Family,  If your baby did well on the first food, I would go back to that one.  Nutro is NOT a product I refer to for my pets or clients.  ( that's about all I am allowed to say on that)
Also, add 1/2 teaspoon of PURE olive oil to his food 1 x per day.
Olive oil is good for his skin and coat.
