Question
How could u come onto to this site and be an expert of a breed that is known to turn on its most loved one?
They need to be outlawed from the AKC from register and maybe some decent people or so called breeders will stop this discrase breed of dog that is attacking people and ripping off faces, limbs, etc.

Answer
hi karen,
in order to answer u there is a few things that i wonder about ... do u know a apbt ? have u done any research about the apbt ? have u made any effort to learn about the apbt or do u learn from what u read in the media ? in saying that let me give u a run down of what actually happened ... the apbt was originally bred for bull baiting in the early 1900's and hence we have the apbt that was bred for stamina gameness and strenth bull baiting was then outlawed and the people of that time turned to dog fighting and started breeding a much smaller apbt that made transporting apbt's much easier ... to explain about the breeding it worked like this ... dog fighting was there to determine which dog is more game and if the dog showed any sign of human aggresion the dog was killed instantly this resulted in a dog that is animal aggresive and NOT human aggresive and in the 1950's the apbt was the most loved dog in america but sadly things changed when some back yard breeders realized that they can make money selling the popular apbt started breeding apbt and started cross breeding them to create a more visious dog ... a apbt that is pedigree and from a recognized blood line is NOT human aggresive and will not turn on his family but will still be animal aggresive compared to the apbt's bred by back yard breeders that is animal and human aggresive and it is sad that people do not realise this and people that want to buy a apbt do not support registered breeders but try and save money by buying from back yard breeders and in doing so supporting a group of people that gives the nobel apbt a bad name and reputation ... seeing that u took the time and effort i would like to ask u to please take a look at my site at www.pitbull.g2gm.com where there is a much more detailed history and facts about the apbt ... i assure u my apbt is a baby in the house and adoures kids and people ... just a interesting fact is that more people are bitten by rottweilers and german shepards than by apbt's but unfortuanately if the dog was a apbt it is front page news and 99.9% of the time it is a mix breed apbt and not a pedigree. thank you for reading this and giving me the time to explain a bit about the apbt (american pit bull terrier) u have a lovely day now and feel free to contact me at judgej162@hotmail.com should u want to know more of have any comments or questions.
