Growth of Standard Poodle pup

Question
Dear Kim,
I have a 9 1/2 month old female Standard Poodle puppy who has gotten a bit
bigger than I thought she would.  She is currently 26" inches tall and around
55-56lbs. Do you have an idea of how much bigger she is going to get and
when Standards finish a majority of their growing.  Her dam was 62lbs and
sire 85lbs.  I was told she would be around her mom's weight but she's
almost there and only 9 1/2 months old!
Thanks,
Melissa

Answer
Hello Melissa,
More than just the parents, the genetic tree that is behind your dog will help determine how big your girl will get.  Most Poodles will reach their full height by around 6-9 months of age (give or take), and they can take up to 2 years to fully fill out.  Your dog may get an inch higher or so, but I would think that she has stopped growing and will just fill out now.

I hope this helps you some.  If you have other questions about your girl or other Poodle questions in general, please feel free to ask.
