Yellowish discharge?

Question
QUESTION: Someone left a young pit by about a year in our backyard and it's a great dog.  We took it to get it's shoots about a week ago and as of 03/01.  There are seemingly no problems with this animal but my girlfriend and I have noticed a off white discharge out of his private area.  I'm afraid to find out what this is but on the other hand I hope it's not anything major so needless to say the we have to get down to the bottom of it.

ANSWER: Thanks for your question Scott.  Also, thanks for taking such great  care of this lucky guy!

As for the penis yellow discharge, I believe this is normal and will clear up on it's own.  If it becomes greenish and larger amounts are processed, I would see the vet.  Sometimes a greenish discharge will mean a Urinary infection.
Right now, it sounds fine.  Keep an eye on it.

Also, make sure you give him a good quality Holistic Food, if possible.  Go to the local pet store or find one on-line. You may want to stop by my web site to learn about NuVET Plus - a wonderful vitamin/supplement for all ages...  Good wafer treats, too!
The cost is about 20.00 per month for NuVET Plus -

Thanks for being such a good Pet Dad.

QUESTION: Sorry, but my need to always learn more gets the best of me in these cases.  What is the discharge and why is it produced?  Is it common in Pit Bulls or in all breeds? If it turns green what's that mean and what's the cure for it?
Thank you,
Scott
