yellow lab just rescued

Hello-
I have just rescued a very sweet and gentle 3.5 year old yellow lab.  She and I have been bonding for 2 weeks.  My boyfriend was over and she was watching us while we were intimate.  Afterwards, she began (for the first time) to whimper and whine.  She proceeded to bark at my boyfriend for 5 minutes.  We tried to reassure her that all was ok.  Was wondering if this is a jealousy issue or if she was scared at what she witnessed.  Should she not be privy to this in the future??

This is not an issue I have dealt with.  I don't know how the people that let the dog sleep with them handle it.  We sleep upstairs, and the dogs downstairs. Likely it was new to her.  Why don't you see how she reacts in the future.  It could be jealousy, or some baggage from her past.  If you consistently get the reaction, perhaps it would be best to exclude her.  

Thank you for rescuing her.  So many nice dogs need a home.  Count on me for any help I can give you with her.
