Blue eyed 5 week old yellow Lab

Today I looked at and put a deposit on a female, yellow with blue eyes. The papers show OFA good on sire and good on mothers parents. Will the blue eyes most likely change? Also this pup had a light color around her eyes. Could that be because she is blond color or is it no pigmintation ?  Should I be concerned ?

That doesn't sound right.  I think all puppies are born with blue eyes, but most develop the brown color later.  I am more concerned about the lack of color around the eyes.  Yellow Lab puppies definitely have black around their eyes and mouth.  Most of them are born with black noses too.  

Revised to add, you could go to www.akc.org and see what the breed standard has to say about the eye rims.  

Also, OFA is quite important, but relates to good joint structure.  A dog can have a good OFA score, but have many other health problems.
