chocolate lab ate skewer

Question
My 6 month old chocolate lab just stole a piece of "steak on a stick (chinese food) from my son.  Before I could pull it out of her mouth, she had eaten about 2 inches of the steak with the bamboo skewer in it(the dull end, not the pointy end).  Have you ever heard of a pup doing this and what was the outcome?  Should this come out in her stool or would it require surgery?  She is acting fine.

I would take him to a vet right now and have an x ray done. The stick could puncture her insides and she would bleed to death, it may or may not pass smoothlyand come out in her poop but if one of My dogs ate a stick I would take them to a vet for an x ray right away because once something is punctured well its hard to repare if it can be repared in time that is.
