Breed of my puppy

Question
HI!

I just received a response from another person on the site and I would like a 2nd opinion.  I just saw that you know alot about the JR breed so I figured I would ask.  Does my puppy look like a JR/beage mix?   I want to learn as much as I can about the breed, so I can take care of her properly.  She is 8weeks, and 8lbs, some loose skin, and about 9inches at her withers (not sure if my measurements are correct).  Sorry to bother you for a second opinion, just trying to be a good mom to my lil girl.

Thanks!

Answer
Hello I feel compelled to say this puppy doesnt look like its got jack russell terrier in her....the puppy is only 8 weeks old and already this big compaired to your labrador retiever (or lab retiever X)? Well if she does have jack in her and looking at her face and eyes in the pictures it seems posible she is crossed with something much larger to be This big at this age my jack russell puppy at eight weeks old was half her size. Also she has the coloring of a white labrador retiever....but the spots on her eye would be from a jack russell or other simaler colored terrier she is much to bulky to be pure indeed and her eye setment makes her look like a lab puppy at first glance and she is indeed the size of your average 8 week old Labrador retiever puppy ato me she looks nothing like a beagle jackX since she is so large for her age. She is in my option a jack russell crossed with a lartger dog possibly a labrador retiever   Since a beagle gets only 18/22 pounds and a jack russell gets only 14-15 pounds she is 8 weeks old and already 8 pounds shes deffintly going to be a larger dog then you may have thought. Heres a link to pictures of jackabees beaglesXjack russells and you'll see very clearly she doesnt look like the cross; http://www.dogbreedinfo.org/jackabee.htm

and if you check out all these crosses you might be able to find one that looks siamler to your puppy.     http://www.dogbreedinfo.org/hybriddogs.htm#L

thou shes a very cute puppy!
