Nesting Place

I have two retrievers one male one female. The female is pregnant and due in two weeks. She seems to be nesting under a patio and it is damp and dirty under there. I have a warm place for her in a decent size kennel with blankets and towels and it has a cover on the kennel that can lift up like a lid. My question is I want her to nest in the kennel where I can check on her and the pups when necessary. shes not too keen on the kennel. How can I make her nest there?

What is your weather like, is it hot?  She may find the patio cooler.  Try removing the blankets and maybe leave the lid up slightly to improve ventilation if it isn't wire.  Also try to make it more secluded, she wants a den she can hide in, but see out of.
