bebasia and loosing weight

my 1 year 3 month old German Shephard male has as diognesed by the vet bebasia his pallete count was 130000 now after 3 months on medecines it has gone up to 195000 which should be 250000 as normal.
my dog has a single coat he is shedding hair and has lost weight his weight is now 28 kgs.he looks very weak.
i want to ask is there any way he can gain weight.he looks very weak his hip bones popping out.

Hi Anjan,  Feeding a diet high in fat & protein can help, but you have to be careful that the protein isn't too high as it can be very hard on the kidneys.  I would put him on a good quality dry puppy food.  Don't bother feeding canned food as that just goes right through them.  Feed twice a day especially when it is not hot so that he will actually want to eat.  Hope this helps, and good luck.
