QuestionI'm not sure if my dog is pregnant but if she is I figure that she would have the pups this week or next. sometimes she looks it and sometimes she don't. her last two boobs has gotten bigger and she also has been producing milk. How would I know if she has already had them and done away with htem or if it's a false pregnancy.
AnswerIt could be a false pregnance but if you get her fixed it will be healthier for her and she will not have to suffer through heat cycles, false pregnancies, etc. Did she mate with another dog? That is a big clue. Her stomach ought to get really big the last few days. Milk producing can mean false pregnancy. our vet can tell you for sure. Take her there and have her checked. If she is pregnant she needs extra care and regular vet visits to be monitored and then after the pups she and the pups will need to be at the vet at regular intervals. When she delivers, someone needs to be attending in case there are complications.
