Spring Spaniel - grooming disaster!

My 11 month Springer had his first cut yesterday and I am devastated that the groomer has cut his coat extremely short all over. His ears have been completely trimmed so that he has no hair at all on them - his trademark fluffy ears are completely gone.
How long does it take to grow back and can I do anything to help with growth?

Not to worry - his fur will grow back quite quickly.  And now you've learned to have a chat with any groomer and tell them exactly what you want :)

As to helping his coat in general, nutrition is key so feed a high quality food like Innova EVO - Fromm - Evanger's - Orijen - AvoDerm and don't use all kibble.  And use all the protein sources - don't just stick with one formula in any brand.
