12 year old cocker spaniel isnt eating good

I've been feeding my cocker Nutro Max Senior Formula dry food for sometime now.  Ocassionally I would put Nutro Max gravy over her food just to give her something different. I've noticed lately that she won't even eat the dry food whether the gravy is on it or not.  I've also tried mixing in canned food but she tries her best not to eat the dry food.  What should I do?

What you should do is feed her canned.  I'm not fond of Nutro and would recommend Canidae All Life Stages. (Go to Canidae.com to find a dealer near you).  Or..PetSmart now carries AvoDerm - excellent food.

At age 12, why shouldn't she have food she likes?

Also, don't fall for the "senior" marketing ploys.  Seniors don't need less protein, they need more and most senior food is sadly lacking.

So your dog is telling you just that :)
