I would like to know wat you think about the food Avo Derm. It claims to keep your pets coat healthy.

Well...what they claim is the Avocado oil is a bit "magical" and it may or may not be since there's no science supporting this.  However, it's a reasonably good food and far better than the usual supermarket crap.

If you're looking for a premium food and want to do the very best for your dog (especially cockers) this isn't on my top 10 list.

There's a whole new wave of dog food in the "raw, dehydrated" foods.  I particularly like the Addiction raw dehydrated and would suggest the Brushtail or Fig'licious Venison because it has no grains.  They also have a kibble called Viva Le Venison which was just named "top dog food of 2009" in The Whole Dog Journal.

Others I like - Innova EVO - Orijen.  Nutrition is the key to keeping your dog healthy and avoiding the vet.  Neither of these foods have any grains.

If you have a cocker (and I assume you do) you need to know about the Zymox line of ear products.
Amazing stuff and again, will save you tons of money spent at the vets.  If you want to know more, just ask me.  Vet Dermatologists LOVE this product because it does it all and no prescription is necessary.
