Question
do you have any site/information on how to make homemade healthy food for cockers. My friend mixs pumkin to her dog food and tells me its really healthy. what is best specifically for cockers, I feed her eukenuba and some human food, please advise thanks

Answer
Mixing 1 tbsp. of canned pumpkin (not pie filling - 100% pumpkin) is a good source of fibre.  But it's certainly not "specifically best" for cockers and hopefully your friend is only using a spoonful?

The first thing to do, Olga, is switch her to a far better food than Eukanuba because even if you're home cooking you'll always need a dog food to fall back on.

I highly recommend Innova EVO and you can find out where they sell it in your city by going to Naturapet.com to locate a store.

Whoever sells Innova will sell other premium brands. (Orijen - Evanger's - Wellness - Fromm - California Natural)

And yes, I can teach you to make homemade food properly - in the right proportions and with the essential supplements.  And how to cook meat for dogs (never pan fried).

But first I'd (slowly) switch her to a good dog food.  Then tell me what you chose and we'll go from there.
