Question
Please help! My daughter has two male cockers, 11 & 12yrs.  Beaux, has been on thyroid meds for yrs. he has a bad tooth, and she has bought $55 food for him but it cakes on the roof of his mouth..she has to dig it out, otherwise he eats his food whole, then vomits it when she offers his next meal. He is overweight.  The other cocker, Chance, was a rescue. He has always suffered with separation anxiety. He has skin cysts that have been drained several times, droopy blood shot eyes, rashes all over, & has started pooping all over, refusing to go outside.  My daughter has purchased crates for them as she works during the day and has been coming home to poop droppings all over the house.  They seemed to do fine, other than Chance is now pooping in the crate.  Her vet put Chance on thyroid meds, advising he is at the low end of normal on bloodwork, thinking it might help, but it hasn't.  Beaux won't eat without throwing up chunks of his prior meal.  She has spent thousands at her vet....what can she do????  They are like children to her..she is single and 30yrs. old.  Thank you!

Answer
If Beaux has a bad tooth he needs to have a dental exam and get this taken care of asap.
Chance needs to see an opthalmologist.

I'd like to know what she's feeding and how many meals a day.  Also - how much exercise do they get?

I'd recommend seeing another vet.  This one sounds fairly incompetent.
