Canidae

Hi Delores,

I know you no longer like canidae, and I must agree..about the canned food, but what about the dry and the snack biscuits?  I have a very picky cocker, and she does like their food.

It's mainly the kibble that has been causing illness.  But personally if a company has had this problem I'm just moving on.

For treats/snacks I love Solid Gold or Zukes..they're actually good for dogs and not just junk food.

For cockers I particularly like Innova EVO (both canned and kibble)
since it has no grains - high protein, high fat.  They make both a poultry formula and a red meat formula.  Alternating between the two is ideal and a minimum of half canned-half kibble.

Can't believe I've finally heard of a "picky cocker" - usually they'll hoover down anything :) including non-edible items.

I'd be happy to recommend other foods if she turns up her nose at the Innova.  See if your dealer has some trial size packets of the kibble...and just buy one can to see how it's received.
